Complaints

Before I start, TC, don't have yourself a bird that I'm posting, and don't delete this, if you please.

I have some complaints . So here goes: TC, who is (are) the administrator(s) for this blog?Because I think its highly unfair that you have the power to delete our posts and comments whenever you please but we can't, If this is for ALL of us, then I think we should be able to all be administrator too. Now, TC, don't be offended but I've heard that you come across to some as very controlling and some of the things you have said, particularly on a certain comment Hannah wrote strike me as offensive.

"But a "post!" think of it as something someone would want to read" you said that to Hannah, what the frig is that supposed to mean? I for one, love to read Hannah's posts, because they are deep and make me THINK, not to mention they are funny. Correct me if I'm wrong but It seems that you were saying that no one would want to read hannah's comment. Or anything she writes for that matter.

sorry if I offended anyone.

Just so you know Katie, I'm the administator of this blog, not TC. I am the one who deleted Hannah's post, not TC. And there is a reason why everyone isn't an administrator. This blog is called "the message of the Son" for a reason. It's not to gossip and complain on. If I choose to delete your post because I dont think it fits, I'll delete it.

Sorry if I offened anyone.

Well thank you for telling me, but i never was addressing tc when i said:

"I think its highly unfair that you have the power to delete our posts and comments whenever you please but we can't, If this is for ALL of us, then I think we should be able to all be administrator too."

I was only asking him who it was, then proceeded to address the administrator...not TC

You still havent answered my question...

Meaghan is the administrator. I haven't deleted anything! And as far as Hannah's comment, i was referring to it being a post. All post's should be something that has a point and can be backed up etc. It should be like a newspaper article. NOT RAMBLING! like the post you have just put. Personally i think it should be deleted... but it is a boost in the growth of this blog, so let's leave it here. But hear this; the only thing i plan to do is not exactly proove my opinion right, but to proove the Gospel right, it's my calling. And i'm gonna do it.
Meaghan only gave me the power so i could change the template etc...

Everyone has a right to have a voice. If someone is afraid to say anything, that is wrong. And if they do get the courage to say something, then it is wrong for anyone to get upset. Everyone should get a voice, and that shouldn't be monitored by anyone.
And I am not sorry if I offended anyone, because people have been offending me a lot lately, and not just by accident.

I could care less what you think, TC, I could care less if you think It should be deleted. I dont even know you that well. But what you said was still rude, did hannah get an apology? NO! Did you agknowledge that maybe you were wrong in saying that? HECK NO! Oh, and in case you didnt know, this isnt a newspaper article!! this is a BLOG! We are free to ramble there doesnt have to be a point.

I know you're trying to prove something right, which is your opinion AND the Gospel, and how do you know its your calling? Who knows?! Hannah could be right about there being such a thing as Gay Christians, and you know what? maybe your wrong, crazy notion isnt it?

My dear Phoenix, you need to relax. This is not just my opinion it's God's. And do you really want to argue with what God has too say? If so, you take it up with Him, i am just declaring the word.

P.S. - Hannah i didn't mean to offend you, i just hate reading blogs that are all rambling; and that's what this one has turned into. And if it continues then we might as well just delete this blog. And Phoenix, just to let you know. I think your latest post should be deleted, because it's just a ramble.
And on that note, describe to me what you think is a good blog...

My Dear TC, as i said i really dont care what you think, go ahead and delete my post. i can assure you its not a ramble though. :) MY opinion of a 'good post' doesnt matter, what matters is if the person who wrote the post thinks its a good post. There's no criteria you have to meet, and you can ramble all you want, i dont think anyone, besides you, cares at all. And i disagree with you about how you say this blog is beginning to be all rambling, look at all the debates we're having. "assigned topic" or not, they're still debates.
And how do you know it's God's opinion? Enlighten me, TC.

I will gladly enlighten you, is God's word not God's opinion,... oh wait it's not His opinion, it's the final line. There's nothing past it. Truth is Truth, i'm not calling myself anything great, just that His word is not only His opinion, it's what He's got to say, and what He says goes.

Okay, I found an article on Gay Marriage in one of my old Brio magazines (it's a christian teen mag, from february 2004).
Here are some good points they bring up.
-Two people who love each other should be able to commit themselves to each other, but there are lots of ways to do that besides marriage. For example; friends are commited to one another, as are parents to their children. People are even commited to their pets. They are all forms of love, but none of them is marriage.
-All people have the same right to marry, but you have to follow the rules. You can't marry if you're already married, you can't marry a close relative, you can't marry your pet, and you can't marry someone of the same gender.
-Banning gay marriage is NOT the same as banning interracial marriage, because no US court has ever established that homosexuality is unchangeable, but race, nationality and gender are.

Let's get a new topic going...no one wants this board to die, right? And Meagan, why don't you post that draft? I have a few ideas on the subject (and everyone wants to know my opinion, right?)
